All engines come with limited corrosion protection (3 years standard; 4 years for MerCruiser SeaCore). Some controls and rigging are also covered when installed with genuine Mercury Precision Parts. Warranty Period Coverage starts from the date of first retail sale or first usewhichever comes first. Warranty terms vary by productcheck your specific models Warranty Chart. Warranty coverage is non-decliningit doesnt reduce with time or engine hours. Transferability Warranty can be transferred between recreational users (but not from or to commercial users). Commercial Use Commercial-use engines are covered for 1 year from sale or first use.
